  • Established a successful Enterprise GIS platform and service for the Municipality under approved capital budget in each year of the project.

  • Strategized the framework and lead the building of Business Intelligence metrics to track recovery progress after the 2016 wildfire and for day-to-day business metrics reporting

  • Led the GIS and IT teams at Emergency Operations Centre during the 2016 Wildfire. Produced 'The Fire Map'. This tool was developed and launched in 4 days

  • Implemented a steward – custodian model for the centralization and sharing of Geographic Information Systems data

  • Established a framework and implemented an information flow throughout the regional fire department for collection and maintenance of first responder data

  • Designed and implemented cloud based infrastructure utilizing Amazon Web

  • Spearheaded the migration of the Taxation system from an old AS400 mainframe system to our Oracle based CAMA system in approximately nine-months with no unplanned downtime

  • Implemented a multi-user concurrent editing environment for GIS data to enable versioned data management and a proper QA process

  • Integrated 3D-modeling analysis in Fort McMurrayincluding the output of Fort McMurray's first flood inundation model

  • Managed the capture and usage of Pictometry's oblique imagery as a standard tool for the Municipality now used widely in planning and operational work to improve decisions and plan

  • Formalized imagery and LiDAR collection and distribution for the Municipality over an area of 68,000 square kilometres
